Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Tea Cakes Recipe

Tea Cakes are one of my favorite cookies to make and eat! ​They are classic and timeless. Tea Cakes are easy to customize, so I decided to add in chocolate hazelnut pieces.​


Tools you'll need:
-Mixing bowl

-Spoon

-Baking Sheet

Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Tea Cakes
Cuisine: Dessert, Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
1 stick of butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cup flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 Chocolate hazelnut candy bar
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, add in butter and sugar. Mix until creamy and sugar is no longer grainy.

  1. Add in the egg, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix untill well combined.
  2. Add in one cup of flour, baking soda, salt, and mix until flour is combined. Add in the remaining 1/2 cup of flour and mix untill well incorporated.
  3. Chop the kinder bar into pieces. Add it in the dough.
  4. Roll the dough into balls and chill in the fridge for 1 hour before baking. You can leave it in the fridge for up to 36 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  6. Place the dough balls on the baking sheet.
  7. Place it in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Take it out the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Take a spatula or fork to lift the cookies off the baking sheet.
  9. Move them to a cooling rack or leave them on the baking sheet to cool completely.
